"Hello, Maam, sir! Mag pa ila mi sa inyu."

We came to the community not to rest our mind and body from the stressful weeks of preparation for our daily lives in medical school at the academic perspective of our journey as medical students.

Rather, our first week of stay at Barangay Lumabayao was full of activities centered on the preparation to help the community identify problems and somehow come up with interventions to improve or reshape an aspect of their lives. Health in particular. Specifically, these includes courtesy call with the barangay officials led by Hon. Camila Sala, barangay captain.

We were able to share and discuss with them our objectives and goals centered on assisting them in identifying the health issues that are plaguing their community.

During this time, we also had the opportunity to meet some of the residents of barangay Lumbayao.

We, the students of Padayon, Lumbayanon from ADZU-SOM Level I, are here to help the residents of Lumbayao and give solutions for making the barangay a better and healthier place to live.

Kaya tara! Mag #PagpagBangonSugod
